Jennifer Thomson is a Registered Social Worker where she graduated with a Masters of Social Work with a Clinical Specialization from the University of Calgary, as well as a Bachelors degree in Social Work from Carleton University (Ottawa, ON). She has been in the field of Social Work for over 10 years working with diverse backgrounds with various mental health concerns and struggles. She provides services to individual adults and couples who are struggling with anxiety, depression, work stress, chronic pain, eating disorders, interpersonal problems, trauma, relationship difficulties using a client-centred approach. She values the importance of a therapeutic relationship and see’s it as integral to creating meaningful change. Her goal in therapy is to ensure clients feel seen and heard.
